Leadership

Art was born in Englishtown, NJ. He has served Riley's Creek since 2012 as Music Minister and then Youth Minister. He was called to the assignment of Senior Pastor in 2022. Art has a Master of Divinity in Evangelism, Church Growth, Missions from the Billy Graham School at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is finishing a Doctor of Ministry at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest. Art also serves as Chaplain for Pender County Sheriff's Department.

Art is married to his wife Shannon since June of 1993. They have three grown children. During his free time, he enjoys reading and writing, fishing, cooking, and binging YouTube videos.

Luke is originally from Lutz, Florida. He moved to North Carolina in 2016 to start seminary. He felt the call to ministry in his heart, and God responded with the call to minister at Riley's Creek. Luke began at Riley's Creek in February 2024. Luke has a B.A in Psychology from Trinity College of Florida in New Port Richey, FL, and a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
Luke married his wife, Hanna (née Rooks), in July 2023. Hanna grew up at Riley's Creek and is a nurse at Novant Regional Hospital. Some of Luke's favorite things are watching soccer (Manchester United), football (Florida Gators & Tampa Bay Buccaneers), reading books, and anything related to Harry Potter and Batman.

Shannon has been at Riley's Creek with her husband Art since 2012. She leads music for the worship services, directs the children's and adult choirs, and leads the praise team.  

Carla has been a member of Riley's Church her whole life. She began on staff church financial assistant in 2022 and now serves in the office as the Administrator. 

"Becky" has been served at Riley's Creek for 50 years. She has been the Music Director and now serves as a the pianist/accompanist for all the choirs and Sunday services.
