The Lord gave us the
Great Commission
Matthew 28:16-20
"18 And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'”
He showed us His vision of the
Great Multitude

Between the Great Commission and the Great Multitude,

The Great Pursuit
Acts 1:8
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

We at Riley's Creek are in the Great Pursuit by both resourcing missionaries on the field and going to aid and serve them.
Missions is our heartbeat and our DNA.
Our task is to do the work of the Great Commission
and
mobilize local believers to do Great commission work
so that
both our community and the world will be saturated with the gospel,
and healthy churches would be planted among
all people and places

Our Acts 1:8 Strategy
Riley's Creek Baptist has adopted the Acts 1:9 strategy to guide us in joining in God's mission. We endeavor to reach those within our own community (Jerusalem), State (Judea), Country (Samaria), and the uttermost parts of the world. We have been strategically called to reach the darkest parts of the world and to go where there is the greatest need for the gospel.

Community (Judea)
Within a five-mile radius of our fellowship, a large concentration of Hispanic people resides, mostly Hondurans and Mexicans. The Hispanic population traditionally practices Roman Catholicism, while only about 6% of Hispanics are considered to be evangelical Christians. Our vision is to have a Hispanic church planter on staff to initiate the work of reaching those in our community.

State (Judea)
Our fellowship is involved in two major projects aimed at reaching our state. The first area is Disaster Relief. We have teams that are ready to help rebuild and repair both homes and lives. Our second area is in Morrisville, NC. The largest Hindu temple in the United States is located in Morrisville, a city with a significant South Asian population. Our fellowship has adopted the unreached, unengaged people group of Hindi-speaking Jains.

Nation (Samaria)
The fellowship at Riley's Creek is focused on reaching the South Asian diaspora in the United States, with the goal of spreading the gospel back to their native countries. We currently have work being done in Washington, DC, Queens, NY, and Boston, MA. All areas with large populations of South Asian immigrants.

The Ends of the Earth
There are 1.6 billion people in the South Asian affinity who are lost with Christ. Our fellowship is focused on praying, giving, and going to reach the Jains of South Asia. We have committed to going wherever it takes, doing whatever it takes, for as long as it takes to plant indigenous healthy churches among the Hindi-speaking Jains.
