316 on 316

We have a unique evangelistic opportunity in March of 2025. This year, March 16 falls on a Sunday. I encourage you to join all SBC churches for a special gospel Proclamation Day called 316 on 316. John 3:16 has been referred to as the gospel in a nutshell. It’s probably the most widely known Bible verse in the world. With all of the other SBC pastors in the world, I’ll be preaching on John 3:16 on March 16. Here’s what I need you to do. Pray.

To help you, the North American Mission Board has created a prayer guide available in the church office that will begin on March 1. The guide encourages you to read Scripture and pray daily for 16 days. We will also create a short video devotional for each of the three times to help guide you in your prayer time. These videos will be available on the website, the church app, Facebook, and YouTube.

I also want to challenge you to pray for people you could invite to come on Sunday, March 16. I’m committed to making Jesus' name known on March 16, and I hope and pray you’ll join me in bringing folks to hear about Him.
